General terms and conditions

Welcome to Home Equation. Completing your purchase means you fully agree to all terms mentioned below governing the legal relationship between the Establishment and the Customer.

1. Products, Sizes, and Colors

  • Color & Size Accuracy: The customer acknowledges the possibility of slight color variations between images and reality. The customer bears full responsibility for ensuring product dimensions fit their space and entrances.

  • Quality Check: The establishment may open product packaging prior to delivery to verify it is free from sea freight damages.

  • All products are for personal, domestic use only.

2. Orders, Prices, and Payment (By Section)

Products and payment methods are categorized based on the chosen section:

  • (Collections Available Now) Section: Because these pieces are ready in our warehouses for delivery within (10 days), full payment is required to complete the order via direct electronic payment or installments (Tamara).

  • (Collections On Demand) Section: For special custom orders manufactured in Turkey, a (50%) down payment is required to confirm the reservation. Upon the order's arrival at our warehouse, the customer must pay the remaining (50%) within (7 days). Failure to do so allows the establishment to cancel the invoice.

  • The establishment reserves the right to cancel any order (with a full refund) due to technical pricing errors or stock unavailability.

3. Storage Policy

The customer is obligated to receive their goods within a maximum of (15 days) (calculated from the invoice date for 'Collections Available Now', and from the readiness notification date for 'Collections On Demand').

  • Delay Fees: After 15 days, a storage fee of (50 SAR) is imposed for each additional day.

  • Exceeding Maximum Period: If storage exceeds (4 months), the right to the physical product is forfeited, converting to a replacement balance minus storage costs.

4. Shipping, Delivery, and Installation

  • Free delivery within Riyadh for orders over (5,000 SAR).

  • Deliveries outside Riyadh require prior approval and non-refundable shipping fees.

  • Delivery is limited to the first floor only if no elevator is available. Arranging external cranes is the customer's cost and responsibility.

5. Receipt of Products and Disclaimer

  • Upon receipt, product responsibility transfers to the customer. No compensation is provided for misuse.

  • Signing the delivery notice is conclusive proof that products were received "free from any damage."

  • Receiving Closed Cartons: If the customer insists on receiving unopened boxes and refuses installation, their signature permanently clears the establishment of responsibility for any damages discovered during personal unpacking.

6. Warranty and Return Summary

  • Warranty: (12 months) for fabrics, and (24 months) for wood/sponge against manufacturing defects (excluding misuse).

  • No returns for: Discounted items, 'Last Piece' items, mattresses/bedsheets (health reasons), and installed products.

  • For minor non-functional defects, the customer may choose a discount up to (10%) or a replacement piece (subject to manufacturing/shipping times).
